Video Poker is a favored game that can be played in casinos all over the world, or alternatively at your house on your PC, using a net connection. The game rules are absolutely simple and involve the player trying to get the highest assemblage of cards as you can in order to acquire money. Normally, the lowest winning hand on a Video Poker machine is a pair of jacks with the award money growing for each better hand. A list of common winning hands begins with jacks or better, and moves on to 2 pairs, 3 of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, 4 of a kinds, straight flushes and last but not least royal flushes. It should be known that the payment schedule can vary from game to game, so that discerning players are able to pick the most profitable machine each time.

After the initial round has completed, the player can either decide to stay on and try to to maximize their winnings, or press the ‘collect’ button to retrieve any money that they may have won. Further, some versions of the game give the player an opportunity to double their wins, in which situation another round is played. There are also variations between specific games, with some decks of cards including wild cards and other differing elements to enhance playability.
